Situation
All who frequent the Boar's Head tavern know well the tale of Old Tom; a regular who drank himself to death at his corner table decades ago. Now, when the candles gutter and the fire dims, patrons swear they see a misty figure hunched over that same table, spectral hands grasping at an unseen tankard. The tavern keeper struggles to keep customers, torn between his livelihood and the eerie presence that refuses to leave. Some brave souls visit for a glimpse of Old Tom, while others avoid the place entirely, leaving the ghost to his endless, ethereal drink.
