Situation
Magistrate Aldrich Voss is know swift justice, but a charismatic prisoner named Marcus Thorne, claims Voss has been selling executions and pardons for years. Tomorrow at dawn, Thorne hangs for highway. He says he can prove his innocence; ledgers hidden in the magistrate's chambers. One problem: Thorne's own forged travel papers were just discovered in his cell, making him either the kingdom's most dangerous con artist or its most convenient scapegoat. The town gathers for the execution, and Thorne's silver tongue has already turned half the crowd against Voss, but who deserves the rope?
